I’ve loved animals since childhood, and our family had turtles and goldfish before my parents let me and my sister take in a stray kitten that a neighborhood girl had rescued. Muffin led a wonderful life, as did our beloved schnauzer, Brandy, and ever since there has been a cat or dog in my life.

 

I volunteered at a local shelter both as a pre-teen and later, an adult, and spent 19 years as a volunteer adoptions counselor at New York City’s ASPCA. My professional background is in public relations and PR executive recruitment, but it’s always come back to animals. I spent eight wonderful years working for Westchester-based All Paws Aboard, before my employer handed over the business to me. Redhead Pet Care began officially in July 2023.
